In funds, for example, there are materials of theSpecial Commission at Central Committee of Russian Communist Partyon sorting out of the Romanian values (1923-1924) which were evacuatedto Russia in 1917; documents of international conference on questions ofpersecution of nazi criminals (1969 ), in which Socialistic Republic ofRomania took part.The documents of RGASPI can be grouped in three basic thematiccomplexes: documents on social and political history of Western Europe(XVII th – beginning of XX th centuries), Russia and Soviet Union of newand newest time (end of XIX th – beginning of XXI st centuries), on historyof international working socialistic and communist movement (1860 years- end of 1980 years), among which are the materials on history of Romania.RGVIA keeps documents, appearing as a result of activity of higher,central and local bodies of military management and military institutionsof Russia from the end of XVII th century to March, 1918. Among themthere are materials about political and military situation on Balkans (1798-1812), about a receipt of Black sea Cossacks, who were in Moldavia andWallachia, to Russian service, files of the Bucharest military governor andBucharest provost corps and other great deal that can attract the Romanianresearchers.In RGAVMF there are documents of navy of Russia from the endof XVII th century to the 1940 years, including documents on history ofpolitical and economic relations of Romania with Russia and USSR. In thefunds of archive there are materials about arrival of ruler Kantemir D.K.to Russia, about providing of help by Russia to Romania in the period ofFirst World War, about finding of the Russian ships in Romanian ports,actions of marine troops and detachments, about raising of mine barrage onDanube, about strengthening of defence of mouths of the river, magazineof telegrams of chief of flotilla about the condition and activity of flotilla.There are interesting documents about adjusting of relations between twostates, about work of joint commissions on compiling of agreements aboutnavigation and fishing, cartographic materials of territory of Romania atdifferent times.In the archive of foreign policy of Ministry of Foreign affairs documentsof special political and state importance, originals of agreements and contractsare presented. Among them there are correspondence of Ministry of Foreignaffairs with the Russian missions and consulates in Romania (1878-1917),collection of contractual acts and agreements, concluded between Russiaand Romania; information about home policy and economic situation inRomania in 1916; materials concerning Danube question 1940-1941.
