Procopie VasilieCanusi bought the bound Minee straight from Ioan Piuariu Molnar for 94florins, while for the unbound ones he paid 80 florins, which meant that abound copy cost about 8 florins and an unbound one cost a maximum of 7florins.We cannot make monetary equivalences, but in Moldavia the Minee’sprice was certaintly higher. Thus, in 1809, a certain Ion, who was a protopope,bought 12 Mineie "from the priest Neculai, for one hundred and sixty lei.And I paid eighty lei and left him the other eighty for rememberence. AndI gave them to the sacred church in Broşteni" 20 . On July 20 th 1809, a set of"12 refurbished Minee for the 12 months were bought for 200 lei.
