Theodor Aron, published in1828 or Simbolul plinilor de bucurie simţiri (1829), where it is mentionedthat Atanasie Gabrovschi “was filled with the desire to strengthen theculture of the Romanian people”.Under the influence of the historical and philological trend that wasflourishing in Transylvania at the end of the 18 th century and the beginningof the 19 th century, along with Samuil Micu, Gheorghe Şincai and PetruMaior, the Aromanians in Hungary have a strong desire to write in theirmother’s tongue. This lead to “the appearance of the first works thatgive a new shape to their maternal language, in respect to the Romaniantraditions.”Gheorghe Constantin Roja 24 is the first Aromanian who tries to unitethe Aromanian and Romanian dialects in his paper “Măiestria ghiovăsiriiromâneşti. Cu Litere Latineşti care sunt literele Românilor ceale vechi:Spre Polirea a toată Ghinta Românească ceii din coace şi ceii din acolo deDunăre/Lucrată de Gheorghe Constantin Roja, Cetăţeanul Academicesc,şi Candidatul Clinicesc Doftor în Spitalul Universităţii Ungureşti dinPesta…”. published in Buda in 1809, at Crăiasca the Printing House ofthe Hungarian University.
