Otherassignments which were ought to be fulfilled by the agents controlled tobe around Onisifor Ghibu sighted: “– What is his situation towards ourstate and what he wants to do by unifying the churches of Romania, aproblem that he sustains and for which he went to a hearing at patriarchJustinian; – Also it is necessary to establish if his actions still containelements that support him and which are these” 16 .A transcendent and at the same time a charismatic figure, OnisiforGhibu remained over the time an example of honesty and moral uprightness.Onisifor Ghibu’s testimonies about his belief in a respectable destiny ofour ancestry were as current as the beginning of the XXI century: “Wefought during 4 decades on different hard but mighty lines of my ancestryand humanity, we were led by the most beautiful and noble ideals likejustice, freedom, culture, love, brotherhood, we believed in God and Hiswonder-worker power…”. His struggle for realizing the unification, forreinforcing the Romanian unitary state and for defending its territorialintegrity, he achieved the value of an example for the patriotic behavior ofall generations.16Ibidem.
