Aromanians and their space of significant density 751The Şaguna family, Sina, Ucuta, Darvari, Caracaş, Mocioni, Gojfu etc.have brought major contributions both to the culture and civilization of thepeople amongst which they have settled, but also to the Romanian nationalidea. As we can notice, the problematic of the Romanian state of the SouthernDanube area far surpasses the strict frame of the Romanian ethnical aspect. This was a factor of political coagulation for other populations in theBalkans, including the massive ethnic blocks, such as the Slavic Bulgarians. The paradigm of this mass behaviour is coined by Papanace as fermentpeople and it refers to the role a certain people plays in the elevation ofother peoples by centering their own energies outwards so that the otherethnic communities benefit from them. There are in history, Papanace demonstrates, peoples who have thecurious mission of not fully achieving their own personality, but gifting theirenergies to the peoples surrounding them. It is through this mechanism thatthe Balkan Wallachians have decisively contributed to the Bulgarian stateform of the early Middle Ages and to the birth of the modern Greek statein recent times, sacrificing themselves unconditionally for the ideals ofthese nations. Other nations who have benefited from the tireless energiesof the Macedoromanians were Albanians, Serbians, Hungarians and evenAustrians. Ferment people are, therefore, bearers of completely distinctcivilizing energies which they distribute until exhaustion to the surroundingpopulaces.BibliographyAbeleanu Dem. 1916, Neamul românesc din Macedonia, Bucureşti: Institutulde Arte Grafice C.
