Electronic annotated Catalogue of Archival Funds... 237Within the frame of the subjects of the project the inclusion of certainmaterials from the archival collections of scientific libraries of Moscowand St.-Petersburg into the catalogue is possible.In prospect the cataloguing of archival materials from some museumsof Moscow and St.-Petersburg is supposed. First of all, it concerns thearchive of the Russian Ethnographic museum in St. Petersburg, whichwas established in 1902 and nowadays is one of the largest ethnographicmuseums of Europe and the Museum-apartment of the Russian researcherof Central Asia on the whole and Mongolia in particular P. Kozlov.Museum collections in the context of the planned research work canpresent most interesting material from the point of view of the contributionof the Russians to the creation of Mongolian collections in Russianmuseums, and wider – the participations of the Russians in cultural life ofMongolia, and cultural interaction between two countries.Archival materials revealed in the process of research work are supposedto be grouped in thematic sections. I also plan to prepare an extended indexof each of the archives and museums included into the catalogue.Creation of the electronic annotated catalogue will allow to study,systematize and put into scientific circulation those archival documents andmaterials concerning Mongolia’s history and Russian-Mongolian relationswhich have been unknown or little known before and thereby to expandthe source base for modern Mongolian Studies both in Russia, and in othercountries.Appendix 1Фонд 134 “Архив война 1913-1917 гг.” Материалы о политикеРоссии в Монголии.Фонд 143 “Китайский стол” (1644-1917).
