Some of them believed that the Aromanians had to learn andhave their education in Greek, while others supported the developmentof the Aromanian culture. Theodor Anastasie Cavalioti and Daniil fromMoscopole were among the first group, while Constantin Ucuta and otherAromanian scholars and translators belonged to the latter. The Germanwriter J. Thunmann and Greek historians such as Zaviras, Sathas or Vretoswrote about the life of Cavalioti.Daniil from MoscopoleBorn in Moscopole, Daniil from Moscopole ( Mihai Adam Hagi fromMoscopole) was the author of the “Introductory Teaching”. It comprisedinformation on applied sciences (mathematics, physics), the epistolarystyle, as well as a lexicon in four languages: Aromanian, Greek, Albanian,and Bulgarian.
