Through the invocation of status quo during the period of Ottomanconquer in the Balkans, which lasted from 1913 until 1922.2. Through the invocation of the Albanian Declaration in 1922 whichstated the keeping of the rights of ethnic minorities upon admission ofAlbania in the Nations’ Society.3. Through the identification of a solution following the ad hoc model ofadapting to the new regime of socializing the ethnic schools in Albania.Eventually the first option prevailed 9 , which had been supported byNicolae Titulescu himself, during the time he had worked as Secretaryof State (November 24 th 1927 – November 9 th 1928, October 20 th 1932 –October 1 st 1934, October 10 th 1934 – August 28 th 1936).II. SourcesFrom the rich correspondence, which took place between the legation ofRomania in Tirana and the MAS master station, concerning the Aromaniansin Albania, we settled with four documents which don’t only contain factualallusions, but also appraisals which show the way the Romanian diplomatsviewed the Aromanians:1. One account addressed to the minister of foreign affairs (Al. VaidaVoevod) by M. Arion, plenipotentiary minister, director of OrientalPolitical Affairs, on Decembrist the 5 th 1929 – following ”The Account”;2. A synthesis about the Romanians beyond the borders, dating on 21 th ofmarch 1935 – following, ”The Synthesis” (Fondul 71 – Albania, Year1937-1940, vol. 3, General, AMAE Bucharest);3. The legation’s telegram no. 1110 from 2 th December 1938 to N.P.Comnen, minister of foreign affairs – following, ”The Telegram”;4. The synthetic report of the General Consulate of Romania in Tiranano. 449/P from 1 st of August 1941 (from N.
