and the people will see it (rising from the West) they will all believe (embrace Islam) but that will be the time when: (As Allah<br />

said,) 'No good will it do to a soul to believe then, if it believed not before, nor earned good (by deeds of righteousness)<br />

through its Faith.' (6.158) And the Hour will be established while two men spreading a garment in front of them but they will<br />

not be able to sell it, nor fold it up; and the Hour will be established when a man has milked his she-camel and has taken<br />

away the milk but he will not be able to drink it; and the Hour will be established before a man repairing a tank (for his<br />

livestock) is able to water (his animals) in it; and the Hour will be established when a person has raised a morsel (of food) to<br />

his mouth but will not be able to eat it."<br />

We were in the company of Allah's Apostle (during Hajj). Whenever we went up a high place we used to say: "None has the<br />

right to be worshipped but Allah, and Allah is Greater," and our voices used to rise, so the Prophet said, "O people! Be<br />

merciful to yourselves (i.e. don't raise your voice), for you are not calling a deaf or an absent one, but One Who is with you,<br />

no doubt He is All-Hearer, ever Near (to all things)."<br />

…..Ibn 'Umar reports that the Prophet said: "Whoever recites Surah al-Kahf on Jumu'ah will be blessed with a light that will<br />

rise from underneath his feet to the peak of the sky. This will be a light for him on the Day of Resurrection, and he will be<br />

forgiven for what is between the Jumu'ah [and the next] Jumu'ah." This is related by Ibn Mardwwiyah with a faultless chain.<br />

We were with the Prophet on a full moon night. He looked at the moon and said, "You will certainly see your Lord as you see<br />

this moon, and there will be no trouble in seeing Him. So if you can avoid missing (through sleep, business, etc.) a prayer<br />

before the rising of the sun (Fajr) and before its setting ('Asr) you must do so." He (the Prophet ) then recited the following<br />

verse:<br />

And celebrate the praises Of Your Lord before The rising of the sun And before (its) setting. (50.39)<br />

Yahya related to me from Malik from Nafi and Abdullah ibn Dinar and Zayd ibn Aslam that all of them informed him from<br />

Abdullah ibn Umar that the Messenger of Allah, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, said, "On the Day of Rising, Allah<br />

will not look at a person who drags his garment in arrogance."<br />

prayer before the sunrise (Fajr) and a prayer before sunset ('Asr), you must do so.' He then recited Allah's statement:<br />

prayers and do not miss them."<br />

miss the offering of prayers before sunrise (Fajr prayer) and before sunset (Asr prayer)." Then the Prophet recited:<br />
