Thisis not necessary to account for the gonorrhoea, for a chancre inurethra may very readily give rise to extensive urethritis; if itdoes not, the cause must be the different degrees <strong>of</strong> irritabilitythe mucous lining <strong>of</strong> different individuals. <strong>The</strong> secretion <strong>of</strong> a chcrous gonorrhoea is characterized by a strong, very <strong>of</strong>fensive smeCondylomata are vegetations <strong>of</strong> the skin belonging to primaryas well as to secondary syphilis, but they may likewise occur incombination with gonorrhoea without chancre.
