For suchsymptoms Ferrum generally acts as a specific remedy. Arsenicum^Iodine, Kreosotum likewise deserve our attention.Diarrhaea, when not occasioned by intestinal tubercles, is treateaccording to the usual rules. If it assumes a tuberculous charactPhosphorus and Phosphori acidum. Ipecac., Calcarea acetica and phphorica are the proper remedies.Pulmonary hyperaemia generally yields to Aconite; Belladonnaand Kali nitricum, likewise Arnica may prove useful for such acondition.Infiltrated tuberculosis is treated according to the same principas miliary tuberculosis ; lodium is a very important remedy in thdisease, likewise Lycopodium and Sulphur, together with PAo*phorus.Acute miliary tuberculosis generally defies every attempt to cureit, so much more as it is generally very diflicult to diagnose itcertainty. Verat, alb.. Digitalis, Cuprum, Tartarus stibiatus. Phphorus may be tried, but the experiment will generally provefruitless.Constitutional Plethora. 681In conclusion we will mention a few remedies that are variouslyrecommended for tuberculosis ; at times for the disease in its toand sometimes for single symptoms; these remedies are : KreosotunKali hydriodicum^ Stannum^ Ledum^ Manganum^ Baryta^ Alumina^Causiicum.
