Of course the nursing must be atonce discontinued and a strengthening diet be pursued.For anaemia after profuse suppurations, with debility, emaciation or hydraemic symptoms, we give Ars. 3, with fistulous ulcersSilic. 6, with suppurations of glands Hep^ sulph, 3 or Iodine 3 oSilic, 6, with chronic caries Silic. 6 or Asaf. 3, or Lycop. 6; wcutaneous suppurations Hep. 3 or Silic, 6.Anaemia, consequent upon profuse perspiration, yields to China 1,or Phosp, 3, and sometimes to Calc. 6. At the same time we havethe body rubbed twice a day with dilute brandy or a very weaksolution of Phosphorus, one drachm of the first dilution to sixounces of distilled water.For anaemia from excessive diarrhoea, with rapid emaciation,debility, disposition to relapses, we give Ars. 3 ; and if the pusmall, quick, with audible purring through the veins, we resort ttwo or three daily doses of the Acetate or Sulphate of £Anaemia after excessive vomiting is met by Ars. 3.Anaemia after profuse ptyalism generally yields to China 1 orQuinine 1, two or three daily doses.Anaemia after excessive walking, running, dancing, etc., is metby Arnica 1, a few doses a day, together with frictions with a sotion of Arnica. Huta may be employed in a similar manner. IthtisSecondary Anaemia. — Marasmus, Tabes. 711tox. is indicated if the weary limbs feel lamed and they can onlybe moved with difficulty.For ansemia caused by excessive mental exertions we dependupon Cede. 6 or Nux vom. 3 ; in obstinate cases upon Sepia 6.Ancemia from nervous sleeplessness is generally attended withcerebral erethism, for which we give Cocc, 8, Nux vom. 3, andchiefly IffnaL 3, two or three doses a day.!•• Seeondarj Ansemia.Secondary ansemia may occur as an accompaniment of variousconstitutional diseases, such as tuberculosis, chlorosis, syphilicinoma, glandular diseases, diabetes melitus, Bright's disease, rulcer of the stomach, etc. Such forms of ansemia require no specitreatment ; they disappear together with the constitutional maladupon which they depend.
