Quality Monitoring And Improvement
13.0 The governing and mangement team demonstrate leadership in support of quality
monitoring and improvement.
13.1 Support is demonstrated through
- co-ordinating quality improvement activities throughout the organization
- promoting initiative and creative process improvement
- coaching
- mentoring
- removing barriers to improving performance
- encouraging individuals to assume responsibility for the quality of the process with
which they are involved
- rewarding and recognizing staff, physicans, other practitioners with privileges,
volunteers and students
- promoting the measurement of results (outcomes) and implementing
change accordingly
Der CCHSA mißt der systematischen Datensammlung und Analyse eine wichtige Bedeutung
bei. Dies erfolgt zum einen durch die Anwendung von Indikatoren zur Datenerhebung und
Datenauswertung, wie sie einheitlich in jedem Standardkapitel im Unterpunkt „Quality Mo-
nitoring And Improvement“ festgelegt worden ist und zum anderen durch permanentes Mo-
nitoring: „13.0 Quality improvements are maintained through ongoing monitoring, evaluation
and implementation of necessary change.“ (...) „13.2 Monitoring activities include repeat sur-
vey/evaluation of client feedback“ and „ongoing data collection and analysis, as required
(Hervorh. d. Verf.).“ 674 Darüber hinaus widmen sich die Standards und Kriterien im Stan-
dardkapitel VI. „Information Management“ ausschließlich der Aufbereitung und Bereitstel-
lung von Daten, um aus deren Analyse Pläne zur Qualitätsverbesserung aufzustellen, und ei-
