At thispoint, if the Islamic world moves as a bloc, as the European Union did in jointdeclarations published in the past, then it is possible to demand an end to humanrights violations in East Turkistan and to ensure that the people here are given theright to determine their own fate.However, the Organization of the Islamic Conference, which should be oneof the most important platforms in this regard, has not made any significantmoves to give support in this matter. None of the organizations that have beenestablished by East Turkistan are members or counsellors to any platforms of theOrganization of the Islamic Conference. The first move could be to receive thesegroups onto Islamic platforms.After this short, medium and long term solution proposals need to beformulated under the leadership of the Uyghur lobby inside the OIC to besubmitted to the approval of member countries.512
