East Turkistan: The Road to Freedom and the Right to Self-Determination / Sirajeddin Azizi Semseddin- We must withstand Chinese displacement and not allow people to beintegrated in our midst.- We must struggle against the policy of neglecting higher education in allareas.- We must stand against the policy of exclusion by facing the Chinesewherever they are.- We must withstand the policy of division by joining forces.- We must withstand the policy of disclosure by sealing up the breaches.A very important point is contained in the historical and geographical name(East Turkistan) of our country. Names like (Uyghuristan) or (Xinjiang), whichare used by others, unfortunately are foreign and are abused by the occupation;these are in no way acceptable.I would like to mention another important point; the Uyghur WorldCongress, chaired by our leader Mrs. Rabia Kader, first appeared as the NationalConference of East Turkistan in 1992 and since then has been merged with someother movements, and thus has changed its name completely; this was a strategicmistake.Reasons for the collapse of ChinaWhoever has studied the domestic situation of China knows the truth aboutChina’s strengths and is aware that it will likely soon disintegrate and break upinto seven separate countries, which according to one Chinese researcher, are:East Turkistan, Tibet, Taiwan, Manchuria, Inner Mongolia, Hong Kong andMacao.- The rate of unemployment, which is a worry for China, will have reachedmore than 250 million people, and this causes a huge gap between the rich andthe poor.- Moral corruption, the disintegration of the family and bribery are widespreadthroughout the country and threaten the cohesion of China; bribery has becomea major issue.593
