Moreover, the Uyghur issue and the EastTurkistan issue are intertwined, and there is a problem about whether to definethe main goal of the people of East Turkistan as the protection of their rightsor independence for East Turkistan; this doubt also clouds the future of EastTurkistan. All East Turkistan organizations abroad are in pursuit of independence,and this will give shape to any suppositions about the future of East Turkistan.However, in order to gain independence many advantages and power sourcesare necessary. Most importantly, this goal can only be achieved by using theseadvantages and powers in an effective way.B.
