To modify an existing view
To modify the settings associated with the existing view, do the following:
1. On the form library page, under Actions, click Modify settings and columns.
2. On the Customize page, in the View section, click on the specific view that you
want to modify.
3. On the Edit View page, modify the settings for the view, such as number and
type of columns, sort options, filter and group options, and so on.
For example, you can show or hide the columns by selecting the check
box next to each column you want to display and clear the check box next to
each column you want to hide.
4. Click OK at the bottom of the page to save all changes.
Working with Forms in the Form Library
After a form library has been created, the users can fill out, save, and upload new
forms; edit existing forms; and merge forms to import or aggregate the data. It is
sometimes necessary to relink the forms to their form library. It is also possible to
deploy the fully trusted forms to the form library, and to submit the form data to the
form library programmatically.
To fill out a new form
1. On the page that displays the form library, click Fill Out This Form (shown in
Figure 39-13)
2. InfoPath opens a new form based on this form library template. Fill out the
form.
To edit an existing form
1. On the page that displays the form library, click the form you would like to edit.
2. InfoPath opens the form in the Fill Out Form mode. Edit the form.
To save a form to the form library
1. In InfoPath, from the File menu, select Save or Save As. You need to use Save
As if the form file has previously been saved on your file system, so that you
can work with it offline.
2. If using Save As, specify the URL of the form library. If you have been working
with this form library on this computer before, it will be listed as a Web folder
under My Network Places, so you can just select it. Alternatively, type the URL
in the file name box.
