2. In the Data Source Catalog task pane, exp<strong>and</strong> the XML Files folder <strong>and</strong> click<br />

the Add to catalog link. This opens the XML Data Source Properties dialog<br />

box. (See Figure 32-42.)<br />

3. Accept the defaults for fields on the General <strong>and</strong> Login tabs. On the default<br />

Source tab, click the Browse button to bring up the traditional File Open dialog<br />

box.<br />

4. Navigate to the XML file you want to use. Select it <strong>and</strong> click the Open button.<br />

Then click OK on the XML Data Source Properties dialog box.<br />

5. If the XML file isn’t already located within your website, you will be prompted<br />

to import it. Click OK on the Alert Message box. (See Figure 32-43.)<br />

More Info If the XML file is located at an HTTP URL, it does not need to be<br />

imported to the local site. For example, you can use an external XML file<br />

such as an RSS feed without importing it. This is why the proxy settings can<br />

be important for these data sources.
