You can view a Site Usage Report about a site from the Site Administration<br />

page. (See Figure 16-26.)<br />

To view site usage report data<br />

1. On the site you want to view data for, click Site Settings.<br />

2. Under Administration, click Go to Site Administration.<br />

3. Under Management <strong>and</strong> Statistics, click View site usage data.<br />

You can view the quota settings for an entire site collection. Note that this feature<br />

is not available at the subsite level.<br />

To view quota settings for a site collection<br />

1. From the portal, click Site Settings.<br />

2. Click Go to SharePoint Portal Server central administration.<br />

3. Click Windows SharePoint Services in the left window pane.<br />

4. Under Component Configuration, click on Manage quotas <strong>and</strong> locks.<br />

5. Click Manage site collection quotas <strong>and</strong> locks.<br />

6. Type the URL of the top-level website, <strong>and</strong> click View Data.<br />

Two new fields will be revealed to you: Site Lock Information <strong>and</strong> Site Quota<br />

Information.<br />

To view usage data <strong>and</strong> quota information for a site collection<br />

1. On the top-level website of the site collection, click Site Settings.<br />

2. Under Administration, click Go to Site Administration.<br />

3. Under Site Collection Administration, click View site collection usage<br />

summary.
