Uninstall SharePoint Portal Server<br />

Chapter 3: Installing <strong>Microsoft</strong> Office SharePoint Portal Server 2003 87<br />

In the case that you will need to uninstall SharePoint Portal Server, perform two<br />

steps: first uninstall SharePoint Portal Server, <strong>and</strong> then proceed to uninstalling Windows<br />

SharePoint Services. The steps for uninstalling SharePoint Portal Server are as<br />

follows:<br />

1. Click Start, point to Control Panel, <strong>and</strong> then click Add or Remove Programs.<br />

2. In the Add or Remove Programs dialog box, click <strong>Microsoft</strong> Office Share-<br />

Point Portal Server 2003.<br />

3. Click Change.<br />

4. On the Welcome To The <strong>Microsoft</strong> Office SharePoint Portal Server 2003 Setup<br />

Wizard page, click Next.<br />

5. On the Maintenance Mode Options page, click Remove the server components<br />

of <strong>Microsoft</strong> Office SharePoint Portal Server 2003 as illustrated in<br />

Figure 3-13, <strong>and</strong> then click Next.<br />

6. In the confirmation message box, click Yes to remove SharePoint Portal Server,<br />

as shown in Figure 3-14.
