3. Try the New List Wizard if you are unsure what type you want to add. Otherwise,<br />

type a name for the new list in the Specify the name for the new list<br />

box under the Option section on the right side of the dialog box.<br />

4. To add a SharePoint library instead, you have two options. You can<br />

click the Document Libraries tab of the already open SharePoint List<br />

dialog box, or you can choose to Cancel the dialog box, Exp<strong>and</strong> the<br />

SharePoint Libraries folder, <strong>and</strong> click the Create New Document Library<br />

link to reopen the SharePoint List dialog box to the same Document<br />

Libraries tab.<br />

5. On the Document Libraries tab in the SharePoint List dialog box, select the<br />

type of document library you want.<br />

6. Again, for additional help, you can double-click the New Document<br />

Library Wizard option. Otherwise, type a name for the new document<br />

library in the Specify The Name For The New Document Library box under<br />

the Option section.<br />

7. There isn’t a separate folder in the Data Source Catalog task pane for Share-<br />

Point surveys, so choose either of the two previously mentioned methods to<br />

open the SharePoint List dialog box <strong>and</strong> then click the Surveys tab.<br />

8. Double-click the New Survey Wizard option, or type a name for the new<br />

survey in the Specify the name for the new survey box under the Option<br />

section.<br />

9. New surveys will be added to the SharePoint Lists folder in the Data Source<br />

Catalog task pane.<br />

Adding a Database Connection Data Source<br />

This example creates a database connection to the Customers table in the Northwind<br />

sample database for <strong>Microsoft</strong> SQL Server.<br />

To create a new database connection<br />

1. In the Data Source Catalog task pane, exp<strong>and</strong> the Database Connections<br />

folder <strong>and</strong> click the Add to catalog link. This opens the Database Data<br />

Source Properties dialog box. (See Figure 32-35.)
