You can use the Area Change Settings page to do the following:<br />

■ Specify contact information.<br />

■ Change the location of the area. This is equivalent to a move.<br />

■ Alter the publication dates.<br />

■ Change the default listing approval settings. The default is No Approval Is<br />

Required. If approval is required, new listings must be approved by a user with<br />

Manage Area rights. The site groups Content Manager <strong>and</strong> Administrator have<br />

this right. You can also specify whether to automatically approve all listings<br />

added by a user with the Manage Area right.<br />

■ Restrict the site template that any subareas created beneath the area can use.<br />

■ Change the area template of the area. The default area templates include: Content,<br />

Topic, News, News Home, Site Directory, <strong>and</strong> Community.<br />

■ Specify whether to hide the area—that is, whether to place a link to this area<br />

in the portal site navigation facilities. For example, if you choose to exclude an<br />

area from portal site navigation, a link to the area will not appear in the top<br />

navigation bar, in the Location section, or on the Topics Web page. This does<br />

not prevent users from seeing this area, but they will need to know the URL for<br />

the area if they are to navigate to it. Hidden areas can still be included in the<br />

portal search features if required. By default, two hidden areas are created
