Note Once the installation appears to complete, scripts run to restart the
IIS services on your machine. Be patient if you experience pauses of one to
two minutes.
5. After the installation completes, your default browser will start and open to
the Configure Administrative Virtual Server page at http://localhost:22030
/configadminvs.aspx, as shown in Figure 2-2.
Note The administrative port (shown as 22030 in this example) will be different
on each machine and different for each install. The Administration
port number is randomly assigned during the install by setup. In a server
farm scenario, you will need to change this port number on each server in
the farm to allow Central Administration to work correctly from a single console
to all servers in the farm.

6. By default, the Configure A New Application Pool option button is selected.
Type a name for the new application pool.
