4. In the Anonymous Access section (shown in Figure 16-23), select a level of<br />

access to allow:<br />

■ Entire Web site<br />

■ Lists <strong>and</strong> libraries<br />

■ Nothing<br />

5. Click OK.<br />

Per-List Permissions <strong>and</strong> Anonymous Access<br />

You can control anonymous access for your entire site by using the Manage Anonymous<br />

Access page, or you can control anonymous access for specific lists by using<br />

the per-list permissions feature. If anonymous access is disabled for your site, it cannot<br />

be enabled for a particular list in the site.<br />

To enable anonymous access for a list<br />

Verify that anonymous access is enabled for your site by performing the following<br />

steps:<br />

1. Navigate to the list, <strong>and</strong> then in the left pane, click Modify settings <strong>and</strong><br />

columns.<br />

2. In the General Settings section, click Change permissions for this .<br />

3. On the left of the screen under Actions, click on Change anonymous<br />

access.<br />

4. Select the level of permissions to give anonymous users, <strong>and</strong> then click OK.
