Class 5 CENLOG Messages
Errors and status information associated with the software and configuration process
characterize Class 5 CENLOGs.
Event 1 ‘CALL’ INTERFACE RETURNED ERROR
(ABNORMAL)
‘CALL’ INTERFACE RETURNED ERROR (ABNORMAL)
Description: The CALL interface is the DCP internal programming way of one
procedure giving control to another procedure to perform a particular task. The
receipt of this CENLOG event signals that the status return to the first procedure was
unacceptable, and corrective error recovery was initiated by the first procedure.
Telcon generates this CENLOG.
Action: If no apparent problem appears at an operational level, the corrective action
by the CALLING procedure was probably successful and no further action is required.
NMOPEN
Description: NMOPEN is sending DTP a connect request/confirm/reject, and
receives an error from EUSERV.
R15: Reason code
Telcon generates this CENLOG.
SNA: 260 - No session index available
Description: This message occurs as a result of an internal software error.
Action: Use the NMS DOWN/UP command on the PU.
SNA: 1403 – EUSERV error return (type %%%%)
Description: This message occurs as a result of errors in SNMS, the part of SNA/net
that processes operator commands. The type is one of the DTPX and EUSERV error
types and % represents a hexadecimal number. The probable cause is a software
problem.
