XFER n-dcpname ERROR–TO PARAMETER NOT INPUT FOR XFER TO<br />

<strong>DCP</strong><br />

Description: A transfer (using the XFER command) requires both a FROM and a TO<br />

parameter.<br />

Action: Enter a TO parameter.<br />

XFER n-dcpname ERROR–TYPE PARAMETER MISSING<br />

Description: This transfer (using the XFER command) requires a TYPE parameter.<br />

Action: Enter the TYPE parameter.<br />

XFER n-dcpname ERROR–UNRECOVERABLE HOST I/O ERROR<br />

Description: The transfer command (XFER) failed because of an unrecoverable host<br />

input or output error.<br />

XFER n-dcpname ERROR–XFER TO HOST ELEMENT NOT ALLOWED<br />

Description: A transfer (using the XFER command) from a <strong>DCP</strong> file element to a<br />

host file element is not allowed.<br />

XFER n-dcpname–FILE TRANSFER STARTED<br />

Description: A session has been opened to a host, the <strong>DCP</strong> file has been opened, the<br />

host file has been assigned, and a read from either the host or the <strong>DCP</strong> file has been<br />

initiated.<br />

XFER n-dcpname HOST FILE CREATED<br />

Description: A host file has been cataloged with a name derived from the name of<br />

the <strong>DCP</strong> file involved in the XFER n-dcpname.<br />

XFER n-dcpname–HOST FILE DOES NOT EXIST<br />

Description: An XFER destination or source file or element does not exist on the<br />

host designated by the XFER HOSTID specification.<br />

Action: Enter the correct destination or source file or element name.<br />

XFER n-dcpname HUNG–TRANSFER RESTART INDICATED<br />

Description: This file transfer has not recovered properly from a UDM on its session<br />

with the host. The transfer is being started over again from the beginning.<br />
