XFER n-dcpname ERROR–TO PARAMETER NOT INPUT FOR XFER TO
DCP
Description: A transfer (using the XFER command) requires both a FROM and a TO
parameter.
Action: Enter a TO parameter.
XFER n-dcpname ERROR–TYPE PARAMETER MISSING
Description: This transfer (using the XFER command) requires a TYPE parameter.
Action: Enter the TYPE parameter.
XFER n-dcpname ERROR–UNRECOVERABLE HOST I/O ERROR
Description: The transfer command (XFER) failed because of an unrecoverable host
input or output error.
XFER n-dcpname ERROR–XFER TO HOST ELEMENT NOT ALLOWED
Description: A transfer (using the XFER command) from a DCP file element to a
host file element is not allowed.
XFER n-dcpname–FILE TRANSFER STARTED
Description: A session has been opened to a host, the DCP file has been opened, the
host file has been assigned, and a read from either the host or the DCP file has been
initiated.
XFER n-dcpname HOST FILE CREATED
Description: A host file has been cataloged with a name derived from the name of
the DCP file involved in the XFER n-dcpname.
XFER n-dcpname–HOST FILE DOES NOT EXIST
Description: An XFER destination or source file or element does not exist on the
host designated by the XFER HOSTID specification.
Action: Enter the correct destination or source file or element name.
XFER n-dcpname HUNG–TRANSFER RESTART INDICATED
Description: This file transfer has not recovered properly from a UDM on its session
with the host. The transfer is being started over again from the beginning.
