NMS and DSA <strong>Message</strong>s<br />

Description: The file transfer failed because the specified <strong>DCP</strong> file is empty.<br />

XFER n-dcpname ABORT–<strong>DCP</strong> FILE IS NOT A PROGRAM FILE<br />

Description: This <strong>DCP</strong> file is a data file only. It does not contain any elements.<br />

XFER n-dcpname ABORT–<strong>DCP</strong> FILE TOO SMALL<br />

Description: The specified <strong>DCP</strong> file is too small to accommodate the file transfer.<br />

Action:<br />

1. Delete and recatalog the file with sufficient size to accommodate the file being<br />

transferred.<br />

2. Catalog an alternate file with sufficient size to accommodate the file being<br />

transferred.<br />

XFER n-dcpname ABORT–<strong>DCP</strong> PHYSICAL I/O ERROR<br />

Description: The file transfer failed because of a <strong>DCP</strong> physical input or output error.<br />

XFER n-dcpname ABORT–HOST FILE TOO SMALL<br />

Description: The specified host file is too small to accommodate the file transfer.<br />

XFER n-dcpname ABORT–INTERNAL ERROR<br />

Description: A software error fatal to file transfer n-dcpname has occurred in the<br />

XFER software.<br />

XFER n-dcpname ABORT–SESSION CANNOT BE OPENED TO HOST<br />

Description: The transfer program (XFER) cannot open a session to the host<br />

specified by the XEU name input as a HOSTID on the transfer command (XFER).<br />

XFER n-dcpname ABORT–SESSION PATH DOWN<br />

Description: The XFER session to the host has been closed.<br />

XFER n-dcpname ABORT–USE (+1) RELATIVE FILE CYCLE<br />

Description: The host file specified as the transfer destination (using the XFER<br />

command) does not exist. Therefore, an absolute file cycle is invalid because the<br />

transfer command (XFER) cannot create an absolute cycle.<br />
