Event 3 EVENT/ERROR DETECTED AT L3 (NETWORK)<br />

X.25 Clear by Network–Cause,Diagnostic=hhhh,hhhh<br />

Description: The Common Network Management Service (CNMS) X.25 interface<br />

module in PDNSVS received an alarm notification. (CNMS does not need to be<br />

operating for this CENLOG to be enabled.) The layer 3 module received Clear packet<br />

from the network for a particular virtual circuit. This event includes the LINE name<br />

and could include the DTE statement name or address information.<br />

R8: PDNGRP STE index<br />

R9: Logical channel number<br />

R10: Packet’s cause code. See Appendix C of this manual for a description of the<br />

cause code.<br />

R11: Packet’s diagnostic code. See Appendix A of this manual for a description of<br />

the diagnostic code.<br />

R12: CNMS alarm code<br />

R13: Layer 4 routing identifier<br />

Attributes affected: Supplementary text message, Line event, Device event (if the<br />

clear [reset] packet is associated with a configured DTE statement and CSNM is not<br />

active), can include CNMS interface packet. The X.25 PSCS program product<br />

generates this CENLOG. Procedure: PDNSVS.<br />

X.25: DEFAULT LEVEL 4 NOT ALLOWED FOR LEVEL 4 TYPE<br />

Description: X.25 PSCS received an incoming call packet from the network. The<br />

X25ROUTE statement’s LEVEL4 parameter is used to configure a default layer 4, but<br />

X.25 PSCS does not support this layer 4 as a default.<br />

R9: Level 4 routing id (ZH$ Equate).<br />

Attributes affected: Supplementary text message. The X.25 PSCS program product<br />

generates this CENLOG. Procedure: PCALL.<br />

Action: Modify the X25ROUTE statement.<br />
