Event 5 DYNAMIC SYSTEM SEGMENT ERROR
SNA: 1407 – Could not enter segment into PST (err %%%%)
SRC
Description: This message occurs as a result of errors in SNMS, the part of SNA/net
that processes operator commands. The % represents a hexadecimal number. The
probable cause is a software problem.
Description: SRC has encountered an invalid DSSN in AZ$LCKB while attempting to
activate/deactivate a line during a resilient switch. Telcon generates this CENLOG.
SYSTEM SEGMENT ERROR
TRS
Description: Various internal processes allocate space dynamically at runtime to
contain various runtime tables. If an error is detected during the creation/usage of
these segments, the calling procedure registers this statistic log entry. Telcon
generates this CENLOG.
Action: Submit a UCF.
Description: When TRS deallocates resources for the last terminal on a line, it calls
the supervisor to delete the DSSN segment. If the use count is nonzero, it returns a
status, indicating that the DSSN has not been deleted. TRS logs the error and gives up
control. If this occurs, a process has most likely not cleared the PST entry.
R11: LCB
Telcon generates this CENLOG.
TSTN
Description: At TS/TN initialization, the DSSN number is loaded and an invalid DSSN
number is specified by this CENLOG. Telcon generates this CENLOG.
