Event 15 CONFIGURATION ERROR DETECTED / UNDEFINED<br />

SNA: 678 – Invalid RMT name received from RBFTE SETUP file<br />

Description: This message occurs when the length of the RBFT/E “user data”<br />

specified for use in the RBFT/E logon string exceeded eight characters. This<br />

information is specified in the RBFT/E “setup” file on the <strong>Unisys</strong> host.<br />

SNA: 680 – Configuration error - XAB EU not configured<br />

Description: This message occurs when the end user (EU) type on an SNA/net<br />

BATCH,SNAPPC,SNARJE or MCB outbound open EU, is not specified to be “XABEU.”<br />

“XABEU” identifies the EU as a provider of crossover support from one protocol to<br />

another.<br />

SNA: 1408 – Too many SNMS EUs configured<br />

Description: This message occurs as a result of errors in SNMS, the part of SNA/net<br />

that processes operator commands. The probable cause is a configuration problem.<br />

SNA: 1600 – Invalid link type = x%%%%, from CFACCS<br />

Description: This message occurs as a result of errors in DTPLNK, the part of<br />

SNA/net that enables SNA/net to communicate with other SNA/nets as if they are<br />

physically adjacent. The % represents a hexadecimal number. The probable cause is a<br />

software problem.<br />

SNA: 1601 – Could not create control block for LINK<br />

Description: This message occurs as a result of errors in DTPLNK, the part of<br />

SNA/net that enables SNA/net to communicate with other SNA/nets as if they are<br />

physically adjacent. The probable causes are resource availability (out of memory or<br />

out of disk storage) and configuration problems.<br />

SNA: 1822 – SNMS UP failed, duplicate logname: @@@@@@@@<br />

Description: This message occurs as a result of errors in SNMS, the part of SNA/net<br />

that processes operator commands. The @ represents an ASCII character. The<br />

probable cause is a configuration problem.<br />

SNA: 2404 – Invalid isystem config item, name = @@@@@@@@<br />

Description: The new boundary function (NBF) handles all of the management<br />

messages for 3270 connected devices, IBF connections to NCPs, and connections to<br />

NT 2.1 devices. The @ represents an ASCII character. The probable cause is a<br />

configuration problem.<br />
