Event 12 TCP–IP GATEWAY EVENT
IP: OUTPUT LOST, QUEUE FULL
Description: DNS, host channel (HCC), LAN, or PSCS is not keeping up with IP or
other users of DNS. IP detected an internal error. This could indicate a serious
software fault. The TCP–IP Stack program product generates this CENLOG.
IP: REJECT CALL, NO RESOURCES
Description: A PSCS call was rejected because of a lack of resources. If this event
occurs frequently, recheck your sizing requirements. The TCP–IP Stack program
product generates this CENLOG.
IP: SET TIMER FAILED
Description: IP had to drop a heartbeat timer used to check on virtual activity, due
to a lack of resources. This means that IP will no longer disconnect X.25 SVCs when
they become inactive. This is not a serious problem unless hosts on the LAN change
their addresses. The TCP–IP Stack program product generates this CENLOG.
Action: Although this problem is not serious, the only recourse is to restart Telcon.
If this event occurs frequently, recheck your sizing requirements.
IP: SET TIMER FAILED FOR ADR - !
Description: TCP–IP Stack detected an internal error. This condition is normally
recoverable. The TCP–IP Stack program product generates this CENLOG.
Action: If this condition persists, contact your support center.
IP: STACK CORRUPTED
Description: IP detected an internal error. This could indicate a serious software
fault. The TCP–IP Stack program product generates this CENLOG.
IP: STRICT SOURCE ROUTE FAILED
Description: TCP–IP could not forward a message with a strict source route option.
The rules for processing a strict source route option do not permit forwarding this
message. This condition is normally not recoverable. The TCP–IP Stack program
product generates this CENLOG.
Action: If this condition persists, contact your support center.
IP: SUBNET/IPADR HAVE SAME ADR = nnn.nnn.nnn.nnn
Description: Configuration error. Cannot specify a local IP address with the nonnetwork
portion all zeros.
