Event 3 EVENT/ERROR DETECTED AT L3 (NETWORK)
X.25 Restart by Network – Cause,Diagnostic=hhhh,hhhh
Description: The Common Network Management Service (CNMS) X.25 interface
module in PDNSVS received an alarm notification. (CNMS does not need to be
operating for this CENLOG to be enabled.) The layer 3 module received a restart
packet from the network on a particular network connection (line). This event
includes the LINE name.

R10: Packet’s cause code. See Appendix C of this manual for a description of the
cause code.
R11: Packet’s diagnostic code. See Appendix A of this manual for a description of
the diagnostic code.
R12: CNMS alarm code
Attributes affected: Supplementary text message, Line event, may include CNMS
interface packet. The X.25 PSCS program product generates this CENLOG.
Procedure: PDNSVS.
X.25 SNMP: ICS Registration Failed (“procedure name”)
Description: The X.25 PSCS SNMP interface module (PDNSMP) received an ICS
Registration Response message with an error code. This error causes PDNSMP to
become dormant. In this case, no SNMP MIB information related to X.25 can be
retrieved.
R8: ICS Registration Response error code
Attributes affected: Error event, supplementary text message, and a table of the ICS
response packet.
Action: This event indicates an internal software interface error. Submit the contents
of the entry to your Unisys representative for analysis. You must re-start your Telcon
run, and you may need to re-start ICS, in order to recover from this error. If the error
re-occurs, take a Telcon dump and submit a UCF.
Procedure: The procedure name, which is internal to the X.25 PSCS PDNSMP
module, is displayed as part of the supplementary text message.
