Event 3 EVENT/ERROR DETECTED AT L3 (NETWORK)<br />

X.25 SNMP: MAU SNMP Component is active (“procedure name”)<br />

Description: The X.25 PSCS SNMP interface module (PDNSMP) successfully<br />

completed its initialization with ICS and the SNMP Management-Agent user (MAU)<br />

interface. This event indicates that you can access X.25-related information from the<br />

SNMP MIB using an SNMP manager workstation. If you cannot, refer to the ENS<br />

Installation, Configuration and Operations Guide (7441 2065) for verifying the<br />

SNMP Agent program. Also refer to the CD 6R2 Release Notes (7442 1207) X.25 PSCS<br />

Troubleshooting section for configuration and operational considerations.<br />

Attributes affected: Supplementary text message.<br />

Procedure: The procedure name, which is internal to the X.25 PSCS PDNSMP<br />

module, is displayed as part of the supplementary text message.<br />

X.25: SUB-ADDRESS NOT PERMITTED FOR LEVEL 4 TYPE<br />

Description: X.25 PSCS received an incoming call packet from the network. The<br />

X25ROUTE statement’s SUBADR parameter is used to configure a layer 4 based upon<br />

the called DTE address sub-address digits, but X.25 PSCS does not support the subaddress<br />

routing this layer 4.<br />

generates this CENLOG.<br />

Action: Modify the X25ROUTE statement. Procedure: PCALL.<br />

Description: The PDNL3 module acknowledges the receipt of the trace file size data<br />

value specified in the DATA parameter of the NMS TRAC X25 command. The TYPE<br />

parameter included an “L.”<br />

generates this CENLOG. Procedure: PDNL3.<br />
