ETNUDP: Undeliverable Message
Event 12 TCP–IP GATEWAY EVENT
Description: UDP cannot deliver some of its messages to their destination. Possible
router down. Possible configuration problem in network nodes.
Action: Check for CENL message “IP: ICMP RCVD DEST UNREACH MSG.” If
message does not occur, check for interface down. Check for gateway configuration
problems. Otherwise, check contents of ICMP message (CENL message display with
OPTION=LONG) for source address or message to determine probable location of
problem.
ETNUDP: Unrecognizable message
Description: TCP–IP Stack detected an error in the interface to another software
component. This condition is normally recoverable. The TCP–IP Stack program
product generates this CENLOG.
Action: If this condition persists, contact your support center.
EU FOR TCP–IP NOT CONFIGURED
Description: A configuration error was detected by TCP–IP Stack. No EU statement
of TYPE=TCPIP was found. TCP–IP Stack features are not available. TCP–IP Stack
generates this CENLOG.
Action: Add an EU statement with TYPE=TCPIP to the configuration.
INITQUES: NO SYSTEM TRUNKS CONFIGURED
Description: TCP–IP Stack cannot find the configured trunks. This may indicate an
internal software fault or a configuration error. Check the configuration, and try
restarting Telcon. The TCP–IP Stack program product generates this CENLOG.
IP: BAD FUNCTION CODE FROM MIP
Description: TCP–IP Stack detected an error in the interface to another software
component. This condition is normally recoverable. The TCP–IP Stack program
product generates this CENLOG.
Action: If this condition persists, contact your support center.
IP: BUFFER SIZE TOO LARGE (R8)
Description: TCP–IP Stack detected an internal error. This condition is normally
recoverable. The TCP–IP Stack program product generates this CENLOG.
Action: If this condition persists, contact your support center.
