Remote File System (RFS) Messages
IPC Status Codes
Tables 18–5 through 18–12 list status codes generated by IPC. These messages are generated
as a result of an error detected by an underlying service used by RFS.
Certain IPC status codes are translated by RFS so that a meaningful message is displayed on
the RFS console. Those that are not translated are either not generated by Telcon systems,
or indicate an unusual internal system error.
Table 18–5 lists Class 3 IPC error codes, which indicate that the request was not accepted by
IPC.
