ILMX25 Port Initialization Failure ILMX25
Event 11 ILM EVENT
Description: During X.25 initialization, PDNILM received an undeliverable message
(UDM) attach confirm packet with a failure status from the ILM Platform. A related
UDM attachment error CENLOG should be reported by the ILM Platform or ILM IA to
indicate the specific reason for the failure.
Attributes affected: Line event including port number and line name,
supplementary text message. Procedure line_init_request of the X.25 PSCS program
product generates this CENLOG.
Action: Refer to any other “UDM attachment error” CENLOGs related to this one for
determining the reason for the error. If no other CENLOGs occurred, this may
indicate a software error. Contact your Unisys support representative.
ILMX25 Received SAI Down from the ILM Platform
Description: PDNILM receceived an SAI down facility control request packet from
the ILM Platform after the Platform was notified of a PP State Item. PDNILM
proceeds to de-allocate resources (line control block) associated with the line.
Attributes affected: Line event including port number, supplementary text message.
Procedure line_init_request PDN8ILM of the X.25 PSCS program product generates
this CENLOG.
Action: The aborted port should automatically restart and the line should become
reinitialized. No action needed.
If the NMS ILM DUMP command was previously used to automatically retrieve the
aborted port’s memory into a DCP file, contact your Unisys support representative to
have the ILM DUMP analyzed.
ILMX25 State Item Detach Request Confirm
Description: The PDNILM module received an unsolicited detach request confirm
packet from the ILM Platform after the Platform was notified of a PP State item. The
ILM Platform uses this unsolicited packet method to indicate that a PP state item
occured. PDNILM proceeds to detach queue resources associated with the line.
Attributes affected: Line event includs the port number and supplementary text
message. Procedure PDN5ILM of the X.25 PSCS program product generates this
CENLOG.
Action: The aborted port should automatically restart and the line should become
reinitialized; no action necessary.
If the NMS ILM DUMP command was previously used to automatically retrieve the
aborted port’s memory into a DCP file, contact your Unisys support representative to
have the ILM DUMP analyzed.
