Event 6 INVALID COMMAND / CONTROL / HIC RECEIVED
PDNL4(X.25) RECEIVED INVALID TCR NUMBER–MESSAGE
DISCARDED
Description: The UTS 4000 Cluster (PDNL4) module received a data packet from the
network containing an invalid TCR number in the transport protocol header. A
software error has caused either PDNL4 to send an invalid TCR number to the UTS
4000 Cluster, or the UTS 4000 Cluster has corrupted the TCR number.
R9: Identifies the line and logical channel number on which the message was
received. The value contained in the upper 4 bits is the nth minus 1 PDNGRP
statement specified in the configuration. The message was received on the
line associated with this PDNGRP statement. The value contained in the
lower 12 bits is the logical channel number.
Attributes affected: Supplementary text message, error event. The X.25 PSCS
program product generates this CENLOG. Procedure: PDNL44.
PDNTRK: Received out-of-range primitive value
Description: The DCP-to-DCP module (PDNTRK) was unable to successfully
process a primitive across the Layer 3/4 Platform interface or some other item
received on its queue. The reason is because the function value in the primitive is
outside of the range expected by PDNTRK. The unknown primitive/queued item is
discarded.
Attributes affected: Supplementary text message, error event. The X.25 PSCS
program product generates this CENLOG. Procedure: PDNTRK.
PDN Trunk is not initialized
Description: The DCP-to-DCP module (PDNTRK) was unable to successfully
process a primitive across the Layer 3/4 Platform interface or some other item
received on its queue. The reason is because the PDNTRK module has not been
initialized. Either no statements have been configured for the PDNTRK module or a
software error has prevented PDNTRK from receiving the initialization notification.
Attributes affected: Supplementary text message, configuration event. The X.25
PSCS program product generates this CENLOG.
Action: Review the X.25 PSCS configuration statements. If any DTE statements have
DTETYPE statements whose Level 4 equals PDNTRUNK, then verify that the DTE
statement references a valid TRUNK statement on its TRUNK parameter. Check if the
X25ROUTE statement is inadvertently routing call packets to the PDNTRK module.
Procedure: PDNTRK.
SMRP
Description: Error returned from a call to AGBYTLD/AGBYTST. Input is discarded.
Telcon generates this CENLOG.
