Event 9 INVALID RUN TIME TABLE ACCESS
SNMP 301 Duplication connection from peer on port nn
Description: Reports a duplicate ICS connection attempt being made by another
SNMP Agent loaded in port nn. The attempt is ignored by the Agent reporting this
event. More than one SNMP Agent is loaded and configured within the ICS domain.
As each Agent initializes, it forms an ICS connection with all other Agents so that all
of the Agents can determine which one becomes active.
Variable: nn is the port number of the SNMP Agent that initiated an ICS connection
to the Agent reporting this event.
Action: Normally, this is an error because only one ICS connection is formed
between two SNMP Agents. Dump the ILM on port nn. If running in a dual-partition
environment, this event can be reported when partitions are being switched. ICS is
resynchronizing its connection to each Agent in the ILMs. This event should be
ignored.
SNMP 305 Received disconnect from unknown peer on port nn
TRS
Description: The SNMP Agent reporting this event received an ICS disconnect from
another Agent in port nn, but this Agent has no run-time table entry for maintaining
this ICS connection with the other Agent. More than one SNMP Agent is loaded and
configured within the same ICS domain. As each Agent initializes, it forms an ICS
connection and passes coordination data messages to all other Agents so that all of
the Agents can determine which one becomes active. Once one of the Agents
becomes active, all ICS connections are maintained and are not disconnected. This is
done in order to determine if and when another Agent (whether active or not)
becomes unloaded and thus unable to participate in any future coordination activities
for determining which Agent becomes active.
Variable: nn is the port of the SNMP Agent initiating the ICS disconnect.
Action: This event implies a memory or software problem in the ILM port reporting
this event, or an ICS problem. Dump the ILM reporting this event, unless other events
are reported implying the ICS.
Description: TRS attempted to allocate resources for a terminal. TRS rejects the
request due to configuration, terminal already active, proxy terminal not signed on, no
buffer space available, or operator error.
