TIME/DATE STILL RETRYING AUTO-SET FROM HOST<br />

Event 4 TIME / DATE EVENT<br />

Description: Indicates repeated failure to open a session to the time and date source<br />

hosts specified on the PRCSR statement SETTIME parameter.<br />

Open requests are automatically retried at 30-second intervals (this event repeats at<br />

10-minute intervals) until a request is successful or until the operator enters a SET<br />

command. <strong>Telcon</strong> generates this CENLOG.<br />

Action: Enter a SET command with an alternate source HOST name or use a SET<br />

command with explicit TIME and DATE parameters to set the <strong>DCP</strong> time and date on<br />

the <strong>DCP</strong>.<br />

TIME/DATE UNCHANGED–HOST NAME INVALID<br />

Description: The time and date source host specified by the SETTIME parameter on<br />

a PRCSR statement is not the name of an ADDRESS, NETADR, or XEU statement in<br />

the configuration file. <strong>Telcon</strong> generates this CENLOG.<br />

Action: Enter a SET command with an alternate source HOST name or use a SET<br />

command with explicit TIME and DATE parameters to set the time and date on the<br />

<strong>DCP</strong>.<br />

TIME/DATE UNCHANGED–APPLICATION UNAVAILABLE<br />

Description: The time and date source host specified on a PRCSR statement<br />

SETTIME parameter is available, but does not respond to the time and date retrieval<br />

request within the response time limit – 30 seconds.<br />

The network or specified host is having problems or the host is not an OS 2200 host.<br />

<strong>Telcon</strong> generates this CENLOG.<br />

Action: Enter a SET command with an alternate source HOST name or use a SET<br />

command with explicit TIME and DATE parameters to set the time and date on the<br />

<strong>DCP</strong>.<br />
