Event 3 EVENT/ERROR DETECTED AT L3 (NETWORK)<br />

OSISIS: WRONG SYSTEM TYPE FOR PT–PT IIH<br />

Description: A point to point IIH was received from a Level 2 Only IS. The OSISIS<br />

component of the OSITS program product generates this CENLOG.<br />

Reason: The IS on the other end of the static X.25 circuit is a Level 2 only IS.<br />

OUTPUT MESSAGE LOST<br />

Description: The IS-PC software interface module (PDNDXA) has output message<br />

data but must discard it because the connection is down or the link area is full and<br />

can not be expanded.<br />

Attributes affected: Supplementary text message or error event. The X.25 PSCS<br />

program product generates this CENLOG. Procedure: TPCDATA.<br />

Action: This event is expected (normal) if the line over which the connection was<br />

active is downed. “Clear” CENLOG entries would be associated with this entry. If,<br />

however, the event occurs and the line is up then this indicates a memory resource<br />

problem. You should re-examine the sizing requirements for the products being used.<br />

PACKET LAYER CLEARING -- R8=DTE STEX<br />

Description: The X.25 to TSTN protocol module (PDNDXA) received a clear<br />

indication primitive from the Layer 3/4 Platform interface.<br />

R8: DTE STE index TSID<br />

R9: Packet’s diagnostic code. See Appendix A in this manual for a description of the<br />

diagnostic code.<br />

Attributes affected: Non-displayed event, supplementary text message, device event<br />

contains the DTE statement name. The X.25 PSCS program product generates this<br />

CENLOG. Procedure: TPCDATA.<br />
