Event 3 EVENT/ERROR DETECTED AT L3 (NETWORK)
OSISIS: WRONG SYSTEM TYPE FOR PT–PT IIH
Description: A point to point IIH was received from a Level 2 Only IS. The OSISIS
component of the OSITS program product generates this CENLOG.
Reason: The IS on the other end of the static X.25 circuit is a Level 2 only IS.
OUTPUT MESSAGE LOST
Description: The IS-PC software interface module (PDNDXA) has output message
data but must discard it because the connection is down or the link area is full and
can not be expanded.
Attributes affected: Supplementary text message or error event. The X.25 PSCS
program product generates this CENLOG. Procedure: TPCDATA.
Action: This event is expected (normal) if the line over which the connection was
active is downed. “Clear” CENLOG entries would be associated with this entry. If,
however, the event occurs and the line is up then this indicates a memory resource
problem. You should re-examine the sizing requirements for the products being used.
PACKET LAYER CLEARING -- R8=DTE STEX
Description: The X.25 to TSTN protocol module (PDNDXA) received a clear
indication primitive from the Layer 3/4 Platform interface.
R8: DTE STE index TSID
R9: Packet’s diagnostic code. See Appendix A in this manual for a description of the
diagnostic code.
Attributes affected: Non-displayed event, supplementary text message, device event
contains the DTE statement name. The X.25 PSCS program product generates this
CENLOG. Procedure: TPCDATA.
