Notes:<br />

1. A segment is equal to 64 octets.<br />

2. Packets received and sent are in regard to the internal and external DTEs, not those<br />

between peers in other <strong>Telcon</strong> nodes.<br />

3. VC type: 0 equals switched virtual circuit, 1 equals permanent virtual circuit, 2<br />

equals reject incoming calls, 3 equals reject outgoing calls.<br />

4. Flags (by bit position).<br />

4: Restricted response on fast select facility<br />

5. Auxiliary flags are not currently used.<br />

6. Word offsets 3B and 3C contain the real-time clock stamp in binary where the call<br />

request occurred until the virtual circuit connection is cleared. Then these call<br />

duration fields are set in a binary coded decimal (BCD) format.<br />
