Event 4 EVENT/ERROR DETECTED AT L4 (TRANSPORT)<br />

DCE FEATURE–CONFIGURATION ERROR<br />

Description: The DCE Feature module (PDNNET) was unable to successfully<br />

process one of its configuration statements.<br />

R13: Virtual address in PDNNET module in which error occurred<br />

R15: Error codes:<br />

=7 An X25NET statement doesn’t reference an XEU statement. The<br />

offending statement’s STE and information table is included in this event.<br />

=8 An X25NET statement references a statement that isn’t an XEU. The<br />

offending statement’s STE and information table is included in this event.<br />

=9 PDNNET received a Call Request primitive from one of the layer 4<br />

modules, but the DTE address is invalid. That is, the format of the<br />

address doesn’t conform to any of the DNIC or DCE node addresses<br />

defined. The MCT containing the primitive received from layer 4 is<br />

included in this event.<br />

=10 A subsequent CFACCS access to the PDNNET EU statement has failed.<br />

This is a software error in either CFACCS or the PDNNET work area<br />

buffer has become corrupted. The STE and information table accessed is<br />

included in this event.<br />

Attributes affected: Supplementary text message, Error event. The X.25 PSCS<br />

program product generates this CENLOG. Procedure: PDNETP.<br />

DCE FEATURE–DCA MESSAGE DISCARDED<br />

Description: The DCE Feature module (PDNNET) received an unknown or<br />

unexpected message type from DTP, or PDNNET was unable to successfully process<br />

the DTP HIC string. The first part of the message buffer received from DTP is<br />

included in this event.<br />

R11: If unknown, contains message type code received<br />

R13: Virtual address in PDNNET module in which error occurred<br />

Attributes affected: Supplementary text message, Error event. The X.25 PSCS<br />

program product generates this CENLOG. Procedure: PDNETP.<br />
