SWITCH NOTIFICATION<br />

Description: An internal process issued a command to an LSM or RCM, but the<br />

requested hardware could not be accessed. <strong>Telcon</strong> generates this CENLOG.<br />

Action: The customer engineer and systems analyst need to examine the hardware<br />

and the <strong>Telcon</strong> configuration to determine the problem.<br />

Supplementary <strong>Message</strong>s for Class 11, Event 07<br />

A–B Switch responded with an I error<br />

Description: A command sent to the device has resulted in the device responding<br />

with an I (incomplete) status. The matrix switch handler generates this CENLOG.<br />

Action: Check hardware connections and configuration.<br />

Action for port ssss and dddd failed. Error: nnnn<br />

Description: Connection of ports ssss and dddd failed due to the error specified.<br />

The matrix switch handler generates this CENLOG.<br />

Action: Error nnnn is defined by the line switch. Contact your line switch<br />

representative.<br />

Bad A–B Switch line speed or timefill<br />

Description: An I (incomplete), S, or X status from the device could be a result of a<br />

bad configuration defining the line speed control line or a bad timefill value has been<br />

specified. The matrix switch handler generates this CENLOG.<br />

Action: Check the configuration for correct TTY device values with respect to line<br />

speed and/or number of timefill characters.<br />

Bad number of A–B Switch device ports configured<br />

Description: The number of ports entered on the IDENT parameter in your<br />

configuration is larger than the number of physical ports on the device. The matrix<br />

switch handler generates this CENLOG.<br />

Action: Correct the number of ports in your configuration.<br />
