Event 4 EVENT/ERROR DETECTED AT L4 (TRANSPORT)
DCE FEATURE–STATE/PROTOCOL VIOLATION
DTP
Description: The DCE feature module (PDNNET) received an invalid primitive from
layer 3 across the Layer 3/4 Platform, or from its peer because of the state that
PDNNET perceives the connection. The MCT containing the PCALL packet received
from layer 3, or the first part of the message buffer received from its peer is included
in this event.
R13: Virtual address in PDNNET module in which error occurred
Attributes affected: Supplementary text message, Error event. The X.25 PSCS
program product generates this CENLOG. Procedure: PDNETP.
Description: DTP has detected an error in a recognizable service primitive control
message. Telcon generates this CENLOG.
INSTDC
Description: INSTDC received error status from EUSERV when it tried to open a
session with a remote central logging Telcon node. May be caused by improper
configuration of XEU that defines remote logging point. R1 contains the error code
from EUSERV. Telcon generates this CENLOG.
OSITS–IPM CONTINGENCY ERROR
Description: An IPM contingency item was ignored. The OSITS component of the
OSITS program product generates this CENLOG.
Reason: The IPM contingency item contained either an erroneous or an unrecognized
function code.
OSITS–IPM REGISTRATION ERROR
Description: Unable to register as an IPM receiver. The OSITS component of the
OSITS program product generates this CENLOG.
Reason: IPM receive registration failed.
