Messages Defined by DDP
Remote File System (RFS) Messages
Table 18–2 lists the messages defined by DDP. These messages are generated by a target
system specified in an RFS command. The target system may be a Telcon system or a
foreign system (a system other than Telcon). Although the messages have similar
meanings in all DDP systems, the precise meaning may vary, depending on the target
system that generated the message.
The DDP status code is not displayed when the text of the message is displayed, but is
provided as a cross-reference to DDP status codes in foreign systems.
The explanation states the reason that a Telcon system would generate the message. This
explanation may not apply if the message was generated by a foreign system.
