Table 1–1. CENLOG Class Types
Class Events/Errors
12 These CENLOGs result from interface errors related to the system’s resources.
The DCP/OS usually returns these errors in response to requests from Telcon for
architecture table changes such as queues and segments. The cause is typically
related to insufficient memory to expand the architecture tables.
13 Contains network architecture (DCA layers 1 through 7) events and errors.
14 Contains unrecoverable communication line errors.
15 Contains recoverable communication line errors.
16 Contains port processor errors.
CENLOG Class Attributes
CENLOG is a Telcon event log mechanism that records significant events such as errors,
of the following ways:
• LOGL – Logged into a mass storage binary log file on the local DCP.
• LOGC – Logged centrally into a mass storage binary log file on a central CENLOG
node.
• DSPL – Displayed on various NMS consoles of the local DCP.
• DSPC – Displayed on various NMS consoles on a central CENLOG node.
You can enable or disable each of these methods before the event occurs.
