Event 11 ILM EVENT<br />

SNMP 403 Unable to release ssssssss<br />

Description: The sub-Agent could not return message buffer space to the operating<br />

system for subsequent reuse.<br />

The sub-Agent provides SNMP MIB information related to the SNMP itself. This<br />

includes system information and message statistics. The sub-Agent has a direct<br />

interface to the MIB manager; no ICS is involved.<br />

Variable: ssssssss Text indicating the MIB manager message type and what<br />

portion of the message space.<br />

Action: This event indicates a memory corruption problem. Dump the ILM.<br />

SNMP 404 Received ssssssss containing out-of-range oid value<br />

Description: The sub-Agent received a request message from the MIB manager<br />

containing a valid MIB sub-tree, but the object value was out of range.<br />

The sub-Agent provides SNMP MIB information related to the SNMP itself. This<br />

includes system information and message statistics. The sub-Agent has a direct<br />

interface to the MIB manager; no ICS connection is involved.<br />

Variable: ssssssss Request message type received from the MIB manager.<br />

Action: This event implies either a memory corruption or software problem.<br />

Activate ILM SNMP traces and/or take an ILM dump.<br />

SNMP 405 Received ssssssss containing unknown object id (oid)<br />

Description: The sub-Agent received a request message from the MIB manager<br />

containing an invalid object specifier (MIB sub-tree), or a valid one but not compatible<br />

with the type of request message received.<br />

The sub-Agent provides SNMP MIB information related to the SNMP itself. This<br />

includes system information and message statistics. The sub-Agent has a direct<br />

interface to the MIB manager; no ICS connection is involved.<br />

Variable: ssssssss Request message type received from the MIB manager.<br />

Action: This event implies either a memory corruption or software problem.<br />

Activate ILM SNMP traces and/or take an ILM dump.<br />

SNMP 501 Same OID from the same SMP<br />

Description: If this CENLOG displays, there is a coding problem.<br />

Action: An SNMP trace with TYPE=LM can be used to capture the offending SMP.<br />
