Event 11 ILM EVENT
ILMX25 Line Already Up
Description: PDNILM received a line initialization packet from the ILM Platform for
a port that already has an enabled line (a line control block already exists).
Attributes affected: Line event including port number and line name,
supplementary text message. Procedure line_init_request of the X.25 PSCS program
product generates this CENLOG.
Action: Check the Telcon configuration for duplicate port addresses on the LINE
configuration statement of the ADR parameter.
ILMX25 Line Control Block Build/Initialization Failure
Description: During X.25 line initialization, DCP OS buffer resource problems
occurred while trying to reserve system segment numbers or allocate buffer space for
the line control block.
Attributes affected: Line event including the port number and line name,
supplementary text message. Procedure line_init_request of the X.25 PSCS program
product generates this CENLOG.
Action: Either the DCP itself has temporarily run out of memory (become throttled),
or Telcon or the OS have reached configured buffer limits. Check to see if the
configured buffer limits are too low.
ILMX25 Line Initialization Failure
Description: An error occured during X.25 line initialization. The specific reason is
reported in one of the following related CENLOGs.
• Class 5 Event 15 “X.25 PSCS Initialization error” may be reported indicating a
probable configuration error. Refer to the CENLOG’s description for the specific
initialization error.
• A Configure Element Confirm packet was received from the ILM Platform
containing a failure status. Another CENLOG should be reported by the ILM
Platform or ILM IA indicating the reason for the failure.
Attributes affected: Line event including the port number and line name,
supplementary text message. Procedure line_init_request of the X.25 PSCS program
product generates this CENLOG.
Action: Refer to any other “initialization error” CENLOGs related to this one for
determining the reason for the error. If no other CENLOGs occurred, this may
indicate a software error. Contact your Unisys support representative.
