X.25: No Resources
Event 5 DYNAMIC SYSTEM SEGMENT ERROR
Description: The layer 3 module (PDNL3) received an incoming call packet from the
network or from a directly attached DTE. PDNL3 was unable to successfully process
the call packet because a virtual circuit connection table (ZV$) entry could not be
allocated. A clear packet was returned to the network/DTE.
R11: Clear packet’s diagnostic code. See Appendix A of this manual for a
description of the codes.
Attributes affected: Supplementary text message. The X.25 PSCS program product
generates this CENLOG. Procedure: PDNL3.
Action: No action is necessary. However, repeated occurrences of this event may
indicate an out-or-memory condition; submit a UCF along with a Telcon dump.
X.25 SNMP: Received input from unknown/unexpected Queue
("procedure name")
Description: The X.25 PSCS SNMP interface module (PDNSMP) received a queued
item on an unknown queue or a queue that was not expected for the current state of
PDNSMP. This may adversely affect the operation of PDNSMP.
R8: Address of queue on which item was received
Attributes affected: Error event, supplementary text message.
Action: This event indicates an internal software interface error. You must re-start
your Telcon run if you notice that PDNSMP is not operating properly. If the error reoccurs,
take a Telcon dump and submit a UCF. Procedure: The procedure name,
which is internal to the X.25 PSCS PDNSMP module, is displayed as part of the
supplementary text message.
X.25 SNMP: ICS queue data error ("procedure name")
Description: The X.25 PSCS SNMP interface module (PDNSMP) was unable to send
a data message. The message was to the SNMP Agent’s manager-agent user interface.
This adversely affects the ability of X.25-related MIB information from being retrieved
by the SNMP management workstation. It may be a temporary condition.
Attributes affected: Recoverable error event, supplementary text message.
Action: PDNSMP automatically recovers from this event. If the error re-occurs, take
a Telcon dump and submit a UCF. Procedure: The procedure name, which is internal
to the X.25 PSCS PDNSMP module, is displayed as part of the supplementary text
message.
