Event 7 TERMINAL/DEVICE PROTOCOL ERROR DETECTED<br />

Description: This event occurs if the remote-site operator attempts to start up an<br />

input device when the line, device, or site has previously been stopped using an NMS<br />

command or from the host; that is, the session has stopped input. If this occurs, the<br />

remote operator’s initialize-device keyin/command is ignored. A supplemental<br />

message to the normal message explains this to the operator. Other information<br />

logged:<br />

R14: The PPID of the NTR line the site is using<br />

R15: The device number of the input device trying to start. All other registers are<br />

applicable to debug only.<br />
